Boomwhackers® are colourful, lightweight hollow tubes tuned to specific pitches— we simply tap them to make a sound! Vibrant, fun and easy to play, they’re a modern addition to the musical instrument world and are ideal for all ages. This workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the instrument, inviting you to discover its unique character and experiment with a range of creative ways to play and use it. Perfect for anyone curious to get started and see what the instrument can do.

Family-friendly and suitable for children aged 4+. Children under 8 should be accompanied by an adult, please. Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is needed.

Numbers will be limited to around 15, so if you would like to join us, click the button below ASAP, fill in the contact form and we will get back to you!

There are two other YWMF events happening at Field House over the weekend, and should you wish to stay for the whole weekend they have a lovely campsite. You can check it out HERE.

You could enjoy some lovely walks and miles of coastline, explore the market towns of Pocklington, Driffield, Malton and Beverley and visit places such as RSPB Bempton, Sewerby Hall, Sledmere House, Rober Fuller Gallery, Northwood Fairy Trail, Eden Camp and York Maze. So why not plan some activities around the festival events you'd like to attend?

If you intend to stay it's worth booking well ahead, as they have a Leonberger dog show that weekend and there will be plenty of people camping...
